„…Meistens sind es in Prosa geschriebene Gedichte, die MM Poems nennt. Ähnlich wie ihre Skulpturen haben auch Maderna´s Wortschöpfungen eine apotropäische Funktion. Neben Mahnworte tönen auch Surren und Stimmen wie aus dem All in ihren imaginierten Bild-Sound-Welten….Ruhelose, vereinzelte Dada-Laute, die repetitiv in Maderna´s Poems erklingen akzentuieren Zukunftsweisendes und übernehmen die Rolle kulturell-gesellschaftlicher Kritik. “…Mostly they are POEMS written in prose, which MM calls poems. Similar to her sculptures, Maderna’s neologisms also have an apotropaic function. In addition to warning words, whirring and voices also sound as if from space in their imagined image-sound worlds… Restless, isolated Dada sounds that sound repetitively in Maderna’s poems accentuate future-oriented things and take on the role of cultural-social criticism.
